Minnehaha Professional Building

3960 Minnehaha Ave Minneapolis, MN 55406-3232

Classic. Community Focused.

The Minnehaha Professional Building has stood the test of time. It has served the community for the past century and will continue to deliver legal services into the next.

Then/History of the Building

Since 1918, this property has served the residents of neighborhoods along Minnehaha Avenue and beyond. Whether hosting a bakery or a tavern, a dry goods store or a VFW post, the building has changed along with the community over time. Its history even includes sustaining damages from bombings that were targeted at the nearby Falls Theater as part of labor disputes in both 1932 and 1933. It survived.

Owner David M. Jacobs had a vision for the then vacant property when he purchased and refurbished the building in 2001. He saw a home for his own elder law practice as well as an opportunity to bring in other independent attorneys to provide a range of legal services.
